Data Visualization Lead, United States Census Bureau
Gerson Vásquez is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Data Visualization Lead for the U.S. Census Bureau. He graduated from Georgia State University in 1998 with concentrations in Communications and Foreign Language Studies in Spanish – specializing in business and commerce. Vásquez now focuses on the dissemination of census data, coordinating and assisting in multifaceted outreach approaches from the Communications Directorate. Vásquez continues to work on multiple national initiatives involving 2020 Census planning, the web transformation of census.gov, and ongoing projects in communications, data visualizations (including those using Tableau), business intelligence, and innovations using the Census API.
