A humanist by training, Erin’s approach to data analytics hinges on storytelling and aesthetics. After leading the Tableau User Group at Washington University in St. Louis for several years, Erin left her position as Research and Visual Analytics Specialist in the Provost’s Office to start her own education business, Data Dozen. Working with students and professionals alike, Erin strives to demystify Tableau with bootcamps and consultations that make data visualization–and by extension, data itself–approachable, exciting, and meaningful. Her hands-on workshops have been hosted by corporations and universities across the nation. Recent collaborations have included events at Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, Stanford University, and Hallmark Cards.
