Debbie Lieberman has over ten years of experience in the education and nonprofit sector. She leads community organizations, school districts, and county agencies from design to implementation to evaluation— all in service of closing achievement and opportunity gaps for students. She currently serves as the Program Evaluator for AVID Center, a national nonprofit that trains and supports educators across the country to work to close opportunity and access gaps so that all students can thrive. She also served as the Director of Strategy and Evaluation at the United Way of San Diego County, designing and supporting data-driven projects serving children and families countywide. Previously, Debbie worked directly with youth through an early education non-profit, designed programming for incarcerated high school youth, and ran a community engagement program for college students.
