Altin is a social scientist with over 15 years of research, operational, and managerial experience in the areas of data science, evaluation, global health, organizational learning, survey research, governance, community and citizen engagement, and higher education partnerships. He serves as the Senior Data Strategist in USAID’s newly created Global Health Data Analytics Hub, whose mandate is to transform big data into insight using platforms such as Tableau to reduce the global disease burden, fulfilling USAID's mission to end extreme poverty. He is a creative problem solver recognized for innovation, technical acumen, and leading high performing teams.
