As our Tableau use grew exponentially, we recognized the need to implement standards and educate developers on best practices, so we created a Center of Excellence. One of our first initiatives to get off the ground was a dashboard scoring program to educate and guide dashboard authors, as well as build trust in Tableau content with our dashboard consumers. In this session we’ll go over the scoring methodology we’ve developed, how it’s integrated into our Tableau environment, and the value we’re deriving from it. While this methodology has already empirically improved the user experience, we will also share our plans for continuous improvement.
