You’re invited to come as you are, and engage with data in a way that’s meaningful and applicable to your own personal perspective. We welcome a diverse set of attendees including customers, partners, and Tableau employees and recognize the value of creating a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for all, regardless of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disabilities, neurodiversity, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, nationality, race, age, religion, or other protected category. We believe that everyone belongs within our community.

To ensure the safety and respect of all, we expect attendees to follow our Code of Conduct, outlined below. Our terms are non-negotiable, and behavior that breaks from our Code will absolutely not be tolerated.

Code of Conduct

The Tableau Conference Code of Conduct applies to anyone who is registered to attend the conference including customers, sponsors, partners, and Tableau employees.

  1. Be kind, considerate, and respectful to one another. Engage while acknowledging that everyone has the right to participate without experiencing harassment, discrimination, or any aggression-blatant or micro. Behave in a way that creates a safe and supportive environment for all event participants.
  2. Hear or see something? Say something! Harassment is not tolerated, and you are empowered to act accordingly to advocate for yourself or others by using the contact information below to report any behavior you deem as inappropriate.
  3. You will not engage in any form of harassing, offensive, discriminatory, or threatening speech or behavior, including (but not limited to) relating to race, gender, gender identity and expression, national origin, religion, disability, marital status, age, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, or other protected category. Harassment also includes sexual imagery in public spaces; deliberate intimidation; stalking; following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; offensive verbal language; inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
  4. You will adhere to the instructions of event and venue staff at all times including while attending conference-related activities and informal gatherings that may occur away from the conference location.
  5. Be mindful of your alcohol consumption. Intoxication is not an excuse for violating the code of conduct. And the use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited

Consequences

If we believe that you are not complying with this Code of Conduct, we reserve the right to deny you entry or require you to leave all event venue(s). All determinations are at our sole discretion. We will involve local law enforcement if deemed appropriate. In the case that you are removed from the event, you will not be eligible to receive a refund of any fees paid to us related to the event or related events. Breaches of this Code of Conduct can also result in disqualification from participating in future events.
